This pastel painting is a recollection of a homeless guy, Darren, I befriended. His only friend was his dog, Victor. Sadly, Victor was viciously attacked by another dog and near to death. Darren was distraught. But, with the help of various animal charities, Victor got treatment for free and is now fully fit and keeping Darren company again. This is one of the most heart-warming stories I've ever heard and I just had to put it on paper.
