Feature Artist Elaine Phillips
Posted by leedman on July 11, 2011
A Canadian Acrylic artist, Elaine Phillips, lives in a small hamlet called Cameron, Ontario. Her paintings are a mixture of emotional realism and mostly representative with a twist of abstract in terms of colour, rendering and composition.
An exploration of colour shape and application, all abstract art creations are painted with vibrant colours using artists' acrylic paints and textures, brush and knife on canvas. They are inspired by life and cultural experiences, that offer the viewer an interpretation of contemporary simplistic organic relationships. Yet adding a sense of humor mixed in!
