Color in Motion | A Los Angeles Group Art Show

by

The Erin Hanson Gallery is pleased to present a group exhibition of works from three popular Los Angeles based artists. Color in Motion will show for a limited engagement on Saturday, March 26th.

The LA artists featured in this limited engagement exhibition are Pomm, Ian Ely and Erin Hanson. The driving focus will be color and motion.

POMM. Expressionist.

Pomm’s expressionist style presented in her oil work transcends the viewer into an emotionally heightened “outer world.” The artist describes her work: “I paint peaceful moments. Times when you see the sun cast shadows on your shoulder, you hear the birds sing and you feel the breeze sweep softly against your face. Moments that you reflect on peace, beauty and love, moments that inspire you.”

IAN ELY. Landscape Photographer.

Ely’s fiery love for the outdoors was stoked at a very young age by wilderness camping, nature outings and road trips from California to visit family in the Midwest. Ian says from his heart that, among the many natural wonders he has perceived, the breath-taking natural beauty he experienced on multiple mountain excursions aboard a back-country steam engine train in Colorado most inspired him to pursue unbounded dreams of sharing captured, spectacular “moments in time and space” with others.

ERIN HANSON. Landscape Impressionism.

Hanson’s vivid oil paintings are impressions, fleeting pictures stored within the mind’s eye. Exploring the outdoors since a young age, backpacking and rock climbing across the Western states, Erin Hanson transforms these dramatic landscapes into breathtaking mosaics of color and texture on the canvas.  Her oil paintings stand out in a crowd, breathing a fresh new life into contemporary impressionism.
