For the past five years Erin Hanson’s Los Angeles gallery and studio has showcased her uniquely colorful and impressionistic oil paintings. Ever the adventurer, Hanson’s next chapter brings her to LA’s beautiful southern neighbor, San Diego. The Erin Hanson Gallery has now relocated to San Diego’s Miramar design district.
Those not yet familiar with her work will recognize an impressionistic ideal steeped in classic beauty and rocked by unexpected bolts of color and energy. Hanson’s works can be found in museums, galleries and collector’s homes across the globe. She is proud and excited to become a part of San Diego’s buzzing art community.
We invite you to celebrate the opening of The Erin Hanson Gallery, San Diego’s newest art scene addition. The 6,000-sq foot gallery and studio space will be open to the public on Saturday, February 25 th from 5pm to 9pm. Visitors will enjoy a brand-new collection of Erin Hanson originals. Live jazz music will be provided by The Happiness Jazz Band and refreshments will be served.

About the Artist:
Erin Hanson is a life-long painter, beginning her study of oils as a young child. Her passion for natural beauty is seen in her work as she transforms vistas familiar and rare into stunning interpretations of bold color, playful rhythms and raw emotional impact. Her frequent forays into National Parks and other recesses of nature include backpacking expeditions, rock climbing, and photo safaris. Hanson’s unique painting style has become known as Open Impressionism, with hundreds of collectors eagerly anticipating her work. As an iconic, driving force in the rebirth of contemporary impressionism, Hanson is quickly recognized as a prolific, modern master.
