After the Rain
It could be said that this painting is a pair to the painting “On the way to Graz”. It was painted based on a photo taken from the train window by my friend. I wanted to convey the mood of the departing huge clouds, which thundered over the city and flooded the lowlands. But the sun comes out after every shower, and the anxiety is replaced by the warmth of light. It really resonated with my condition at the time. For me, it was a kind of an emotional release of the feeling of having gone through a very critical stage of life and the beginning of significant and positive changes.
