Portrait Of Yui Yoshiko
Ink, oil, graphite and color on canvas over wood panel, approx. 40 x 30 x 2cm. The preparatory drawings for this work were made around 1995, but the painted portrait completed in 2015 for exhibition in Tokyo in 2017. The sitter was a friend in Kobe and we decided to arrange a sitting shortly after the earthquake there in 1995. This is part of my own collection.
