Simon Bull, plein air painting a beautiful fall landscape

People often think, “I can do that.” And they’re right. I’m just not sure how good they’ll be at first crack, but some people do quite well right out of the gate. Many artists encourage other people to pick up the  brush and paint for themselves. The art fairs and art sales will happen soon enough.

I saw this video on Facebook with Simon Bull painting a plein air landscape with beautiful fall colors and a mountainous background. It’s important to note how he starts with the background colors and scenery first and then gradually works his way forward. Near the end he starts doing some fine tuning.

Spend 15 minutes watching this and you may just find the courage to crack open that beginner paint set.

Stay tuned and we’ll post new videos that come available.
