It was made using highly pigmented oil paint on stretched canvas. The sides of the canvas have a pleasing curve to them and it comes with appropriate hanging fixings ready to hang straight onto your wall. A coat of varnish has been applied to protect the painted surface from dust and UV light. The work is signed on the front. A catalogued certificate of authenticity is included. For safe delivery, it will be carefully packaged and sent fully insured via a tracked courier.

Rodger builds Elsewhere around a single, confident compositional idea: the ancient tree as silhouette, its massive dark trunk and spreading roots anchoring the lower canvas while its branches reach and dissolve into a sky of extraordinary chromatic intensity.
