Ericeira is an acrylic plein air painting on wood by Sean Kalley.
This view captures the northwest corner of the main square in Ericeira, next to Pão da Vila. The exchange between light and shadow across the buildings and street was a fun challenge to explore on site.

Painted directly from observation, the scene reflects the calm rhythm of the town—subtle architectural details, softened façades, and the quiet presence of daily life unfolding without urgency.
