Artist Description
55 x 60 cm Oil on canvas; 2021 year.
This painting is based on a photo of an incredibly beautiful autumn that was sent to me by a friend of mine from another city. I was highly inspired by the motif, and since my surroundings did not have such colors at the time, I got the concept for this painting from the photo. It was a real orange world, illuminated by a street lamp at night.
For me, autumn is always a period of immersion and reflection. Nature is changing, and I too am analyzing and rethinking many things. It is a period when I want to think about the global direction of my life and where my everyday routine is leading me. This artwork is an example of such a reflection.
Collector’s Insight
Autumn unfolds as a dense, immersive field of color where warm oranges, golds, and muted blues intermingle in layered, expressive textures. The surface feels alive with movement, suggesting leaves, light, and atmosphere rather than fixed forms. This abstraction invites the viewer inward, encouraging a slower, more contemplative way of looking.
Tatiana Ivolga’s approach transforms a specific moment—an autumn night illuminated by artificial light—into a universal emotional landscape. The painting speaks to transition, introspection, and the quiet intensity of seasonal change. Collectors drawn to expressive abstraction, richly worked surfaces, and artworks that reward reflection will find this piece resonant and deeply atmospheric.
